Please do not turn into the school carpark driveway to turn around or drop off your children. Staff may need to enter and the road then becomes blocked and unsafe for all. Please do not walk through the carpark, use the footpath.
There are 3 entrances to the school. The main entrance is on Willoughby Ave. There are also entrances on Juliet Ave and Freyberg Pl. You might want to investigate one of these. 2016 Adidas Fun Run Fundraiser
Dear Parent/Guardian
Howick Primary School will be holding an Adidas
School Fun-Run as a major fundraising event this year. The event will be
held on 26th August 2016 as our annual cross country
event.
The School Fun-Run is a healthy, fun and active fundraiser that ensures
we send the right message to our students about getting active, having fun and
maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The main focus of this event is participation.
Family support is most appreciated as we encourage all students to get
involved.
All students have received a
Sponsorship Form to help collect sponsorship on behalf of the school. The funds
raised will be put towards the new junior playground.
We ask all parents to read
the Sponsorship Form and sign the front page to grant permission for their
child to fundraise and participate in this event.
Students who raise just $10
or more will receive a reward for effort. We have educated students on the
dangers of door knocking without adult supervision, please reiterate this at
home. The best people to ask for sponsorship are people you know (e.g. friends,
family, work colleagues and neighbours).
Another way to help your
child reach their sponsorship goals is through online fundraising. Students
raise an average of $103.38 using online fundraising, which really benefits all
involved! To utilise this feature, log on to schoolfunrun.co.nz/students
today!
Once fundraising is complete
please help your child fill out Step 4 –
How to Claim Prizes, on the back page of the Sponsorship Form. Without this page, we are not able to claim a
prize for your child. Then tear it off and return it with all money raised to the
PTA Letterbox on or before 9th
September 2016, student prizes will arrive shortly after.
Each year we hope to create a
day of fun for the students and their families with the School Fun-Run. We would
like to welcome parents and family members to attend the School Fun-Run event day at the school on 26th August 2015 to help cheer on the students.
If you would like to
volunteer and help out on the day please contact the school office at
office@howickprimary.school.nz, we would love to see you at our event.
Thank you, good luck and
happy fundraising!
